After years of paying for dental insurance and putting everyone's needs ahead of mine, a friend recommended Dr. Rene Piedra and I made my appointment for a routine cleaning. I was extremely stressed. I knew without a doubt, I would need some sedation to get through my appointment. This office offers sedation to patients for a worry-free visit. My appointment turned into appointments. I had several cavities that needed to be worked on in two appointments - half and half. Dr. Piedra is fantastic! I did not need the sedation for either visit! He assured me I’d be ok and explained every step. Sure enough he was right! During my second appointment, Dr. Piedra offered to fix a front yellowed tooth. I have had a yellowing tooth since I was 11 from a fall when I bumped my mouth, I am 52. Although I was not self-conscious of my tooth, in this world of selfies and photographs, I was aware of it when I saw photos.

Okay let's do it! He explained it will not be perfect; my other front tooth has several shades. I am a graphics artist, I thought I would notice regardless but figured anything is better than yellow. I am thrilled with his work AND his staff are just as wonderful! He is gentle, patient and a perfectionist - which you want when correcting teeth. He is an amazing dentist!
